Her experience includes “time in the trenches” and she has done it all from gathering requirements, developing use cases, prioritization of features, and writing the MRD/PRDs to understanding and segmenting markets and buyers, writing and designing marketing collateral, and working with sales teams to enable them to deliver results.

Jennifer brings a unique blend of product management, product marketing, marketing, and IT knowledge to her work, allowing her to effectively speak to all roles and teams involved throughout the product lifecycle.

An accomplished presenter, Jennifer is a strong advocate of Product Camps, even founding ProductCamp Minnesota, and works to promote their growth and attendance. (At these events Jennifer can often be found trying to get the females to adopt the “rainbow chucks” initiative. Ask her about it!) Active in social media, Jennifer can be often be found in product management and product marketing discussions on Twitter. Jennifer started sharing her product management and marketing views in 2009, and is now recognized as a thought-leading blogger through her site OutsideInView and other sites where she guest posts.

Barry brings more than 20 years of experience in product management and marketing, helping a slew of companies achieve their goals. His experience covers a broad range of marketing, including go-to-market, market intelligence, messaging, sales enablement, new product launch, social media, analysis and strategy. He is a student of the buyer’s journey – matching it to the selling process, has launched over 300 new products and has led a $100 million product line.

He is well traveled, having experienced pineapple in Maui, chimichurri in Argentina, beer in Germany and baseball in Boston. He enjoys staring up at the stars at night and has participated in NASA Socials (MAVEN launch). He teaches classes on writing marketing plans and price setting. He is a frequent speaker, an accomplished Toastmaster and is sought after as a presenter/speaker/emcee.
